Saturday

We had a slow get up and were able to stay in the house until 1.30pm when we finally set off for the airport.

At the airport there was entertainment from a local band.

And here's what they sounded like -

And here's a video clip from the event that the airport authorities put on Youtube:

On the flight home there were some empty seats and passengers were allowed to move to another one - or four!

Friday

Friday was our last full day here and was a case of some last-minute shopping at the Premium Retail Outlet just off the I4 and tying up some loose ends.

We rounded off our trip with a toast to more visits to Florida!

Thursday

We went for a drive round, including a look round the Posner Park retail park near the junction of the US27 and the I4.

Among the shops there is a branch of Target.

We saw this and thought of Andrew ....

Then we saw this and thought of Sarah!

For our evening meal we went to Applebees.  It came recommended to us and was one of the best meals we had here - sirloin steak with horseradish, broccoli and loaded garlic mash potato for Graeme - loaded with cheese etc - heavenly!

Wednesday - 'Celebration' and another meal out!

On Wednesday evening we went to Celebration, a purpose-built Disney town near Kissimmee.  There are no short term rentals allowed here.

On an evening they have 'snow' at certain times and we wanted to see this in a place that doesn't really ever get any!

Fake Snow - well that's what Donald says ....!

Gingerbread Men - and Women!

Woof, woof!

Santa has his own postbox here

And here's the man himself!

Cinderella, your carriage awaits!

Ice rink

Snow Disney-style!

Then we ate at Carrabbas.  Three years ago we had a great time there, but tonight it turned out to be our least favourite meal of our time here.

Tuesday

The highlight of Tuesday was our invitation to Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party.  I say 'invitation', but you do have to pay to go to his party.  However, there are some free cookies and drinks on offer as well as the usual Magic Kingdom entertainment with an added bonus that, while the park was busy, it didn't seem to be as packed as on a normal day.

All kitted out and ready to go!

And now coming down to earth

Encouraging the riders on "It's a Small World" to 'do things' as they go round the first corner!

Amazing what little things can excite some people - and Graeme too!
